Welcome to Rajasthali
Rajasthali Association of DC was founded in 1986 to bring together the people from the fine state of Rajasthan, India, now settled in the USA. “Rajasthali” organizes events year around to provide an opportunity for people to share and explore their rich culture and heritage. Typically, Rajasthali organizes Holi and Diwali functions and a summer picnic. The main activities include, but are not limited to children's art and craft contests, cultural shows, dance, music, poetry, laughter and sumptuous food.
It is a great way to meet and greet fellow community members. Kids get exposure to our culture as they get to perform and participate in skits, plays, dances (classical; folk; popular), and other performances. The cultural events provide a platform for artists, musicians and other performers to bring out the various flavors of this rich culture.
So if you hail from Rajasthan or any other region around the world, and would like to join in this wonderful event of fellowship, please do not hesitate to email any of the people listed on the Contact page, and they will be happy to provide further information and inform you of upcoming events. You can also reach us via our Facebook page by clicking here.
“Rajasthali is a non-profit organization, tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.”
